01 / The story so far

It started with a beer.
It became a connection.

Some of the best stories start at the bar, with a local beer and someone who cares how it was made.

Craft Beer Asia grew out of travels through Southeast Asia, especially the Philippines, and a desire to share the discoveries along the way. Rob Trent and a circle of friends and regional contributors documented the breweries, people, places and events shaping a craft beer culture of its own.

From neighbourhood taprooms to emerging breweries and festival grounds, the publication helped curious drinkers find their next great beer — and the people behind it. Along the way, it built a real community of readers and followers who shared that curiosity.

02 / A legacy you can trace

The stories. The identity.
The mark it left.

Part of the occasion

From telling the stories
to supporting the scene.

Craft Beer Asia also took part as a media partner at a Manila beer festival. Its logo appeared on the event’s media-partner display alongside CNN Philippines and other publications and platforms.

That history is part of what makes the name meaningful: a brand that showed up, connected with brewers and helped bring people together.

03 / An invitation to the industry

You know the scene.
Imagine what’s next.

Perhaps you bring brewers together. Publish the stories that matter. Connect producers with new markets. Or create the events where an industry becomes a community.

Craft Beer Asia could be a natural home for that work: a regional editorial platform, a companion to an established industry network, or a bridge between the trade and the people who love its beer.

The right next chapter belongs with someone already invested in the future of Asian craft beer.

A note from Rob

There are more stories
worth telling.

My travels and interests have become more global, and I no longer have the time to give Craft Beer Asia the attention it deserves. I’m looking for a buyer from within the industry who understands what it represented — and has the energy, connections and ambition to carry that vision further.

I’d love to see it become useful, lively and connected again.
