Katipunan Craft Beer (Manila) { Katipunan on Facebook } – One of the original craft breweries in Manila. Their flagship Indio Pale Ale is a local staple in many establishments in the Metro Manila area. Recently introduced Three Hops and a Hop IPA which stands up to many North American IPAs we have tried.

Craftpoint Brewing (Manila) { Craftpoint Brewing on Facebook } – One of the pioneering craft breweries in the Philippine craft beer scene. Always collaborating and producing quality brews such as Liberation Pale Ale and Summer Sessions.

Fat Pauly’s (Iligan City) { Fat Pauly’s on Facebook } – Available at select locations in Manila and other points throughout The Philippines. Fat Pauly’s pushes the limits by experimenting with new ingredients including rose petals, peppers etc.

Turning Wheels Craft Brewery (Cebu) { Turning Wheels on Facebook } – Cebu’s First Craft Brewery. Available on tap at Irie Gastropub in Cebu and in Manila at The Bottle Shop and The Perfect Pint. Baguio Craft Brewery (Baguio) { Baguio Craft Brewery on Facebook } Brewing a wide range of products using some local ingredients. Check out their tasting room when visiting Philippine’s Summer Capital, Baguio City. Available in bottles, cans and draft.

The Cebruery (Cebu) { The Cebruery on Facebook }Recently opened in Cebu. Beers are distributed in the Metro Manila area by Global Beer Exchange. Both bottles and draft available. The People Power Pale Ale is in our minds one of the best pale ales brewed in Asia.

Joe’s Brew (Manila) { Joe’s Brew on Facebook } Producing several quality styles including Fish Rider Pale Ale,  Sierra Madre Wheat Ale and the new 34th Pursuit IPA.

Nipa Brew (Manila) { Nipa Brew on Facebook } A recent addition to the craft beer scene. Currently distributing their flagship Wheat Ale: Tropic Haze.

Juan Brew (Metro Manila) { Juan Brew on Facebook } Currently supplying local home brewers and craft brewers with ingredients and supplies. Juan Brew is an Eco Friendly brewery that will be powered by solar.

Bogs Brew (Bacolod) { BogsBrew on Facebook } – Located in the land of sugarcane, Felix “Bogs” Hagad started BogsBrew after a successful stint at homebrewing. Using local ingredients such as honey, sugar and lemongrass, Bogs has crafted a truly unique craft beer. BogsBrew is distributed throughout the Philippines including the Metro Manila area.

Illusion Brewing (Bacolod) { Illusion Brewing on Facebook } A new addition to the Bacolod brewing scene.

Palaweño Brewing (Palawan) { Palaweño Brewing on Facebook } Brewing a number of styles in the Eco Tourism capital of SE Asia, Palawan. Beers are also available in the Metro Manila area at places such as The Bottle Shop.

Crows Craft Brewing (Metro Manila) { Crows Craft Brewing on Facebook } A small batch brewer that pushes the limits on extreme beers. Catch Crow’s at special events at The Bottle Shop throughout the year and draft pouring at Pintxos in Alabang.

Pivo Praha (Metro Manila) { Pivo Praha on Facebook } – Located in Makati near City Hall, Pivo’s beers are brewed on premise at Bravo Restaurant. I thoroughly enjoy their Weizen which to me is the perfect beer to enjoy on a hot tropical afternoon.

GPoint (Manila, Brewery/Pub) { GPoint on Facebook } – A fun bar catering to foreigners located in the Malate area of Manila. GPoint brews beers in their microbrewery in Tagaytay and serves their beers at multiple locations around Metro Manila including Burgers & Brewskies and their own bar in Malate.

Great Islands Craft Brewery (Metro Manila) { Great Islands on Facebook } – Great Islands Craft Brewing spent a long time in development stage but are now currently brewing commercially in Imus, Cavite. Their initial brew is Pearl of the Orient Pale Ale, which is available in bottles and on draft at select locations around Metro Manila including The Belle & Dragon and Alchemy Bar in Makati.

Pinatubo Craft Beer (Angeles City) { Facebook | Website } The First Craft Beer Microbrewery in Angeles City. Brewed by Germans in Angeles City.

Crazy Carabao Brewing (Tagaytay) { Facebook | Website } Crazy Carabao Brewing Co. is established in Sta Rosa, Laguna and will specialize in delivering the freshest and finest boutique beer in the Philippines. Craft Beer Asia sampled all their beers recently in Manila and quite impressed with flavor profiles and labeling/marketing of products.

The Perfect Pint (BGC The Fort) Located in front of MC Home Depot. The Perfect Pint features local craft ales on tap and in bottles paired with traditional and new world Filipino food. Two taps rotate between house ales.

Black Olive Cerveceria { Facebook } A beer garden and Mediterranean Restaurant in Manila.

Brotzeit { Website | Facebook | Twitter } A German style beer bar/restaurant located in Shangri-La Plaza. Brotziet serves a wide selection of Paulaner Beers on tap and authentic Bavarian Cuisine.

  15. You can also buy a beer tower at goods.ph. I bought mine a year ago and it’s still usable. Their beer tower can accommodate 2.5L of beer. I bought it because I’m about to start a mini restobar here in pasig.

    Excellent list. Things have been moving rapidly in the filipino craft beer scene the last two years or so. Mostly I have enjoyed the Cebruery’s beer. They have quite a few really nice ones and also they seem to be ding a better job of promoting and distributing their products than most of the others.
